Steel Shield is manufactured from a solid Steel plate and the unique shape is cut on a computerised laser cutting machine. This ensures the highest quality of workmanship, precise measurements and quality control procedures for each Steel Shield.
Unlike other wheel clamps it has no arms that wrap round the width of the tyre but instead it has four specifically placed holes in it. Two at the bottom and two at the top as you can see in the picture above. |

Steel Shield - What Is It For

The Steel Shield stands in front of the Wheel that is going to be protected covering the wheel nuts and the tyre's valve. |

It has four specifically positioned holes, two on the top and two on the bottom, where the supplied Chain passes through securing the Wheel to the vehicle's springs or tubular frame. |
|
Designed to protect and fit all diameter and width wheels from the smallest Wheel on a Trailer Tent up to the largest Wheel on a Caravan or Motor Home and all size wheels in between. |

Steel Shield - How To Fit It To A Wheel
| This unique design wraps around the Wheel at four points and around the vehicle's springs or tubular frame at two points. |

Stand the Steel Shield in front of a Wheel. |
| 2. |
Pick up both ends of the supplied Chain, place each end through the bottom hole on each leg of the Steel Shield. |
| 3. |
Place both ends of the Chain under and then over the top of the vehicle's springs or tubular frame. |
| 4. |
Then place both ends of the Chain through each hole on either side at the top of the Steel Shield. |
| 5. |
Pull the Chain tight and place the supplied Padlock in the appropriate links of the Chain to ensure the Chain stays taut. |

Steel Shield - Benefits and Features
|
The Steel Shield covers the wheel nuts and the tyre's valve. This prevents a thief from undoing the wheel nuts and removing the Wheel or removing the tyre's valve to deflate the tyre.
NB: Many wheel clamps sold world-wide can be removed by deflating the tyre. |
Please Note: It would not matter if all the wheel nuts were removed or the tyre was completely deflated with a Wheel Security fitted to a Wheel. WHY!

Wheel Nuts: Due to the unique design of the Steel Shield and the method of fitting to a Wheel eg. placing the supplied Chain through the Steel Shield's four specifically designed holes and around the vehicle's springs or tubular frame in two places it is IMPOSSIBLE to remove the Wheel. |

Removing The Tyre's Valve: The tyre can be completely deflated and it is still impossible to remove the Wheel Security. |
